Pentlands Walk (West Kip, East Kip & Scald Law) – May 21
We took advantage of the sun being out today and headed into the Pentlands for a 7.25 mile walk up the hills. Starting from Threipmuir we walked up over West Kip, East Kip and then over Scald Law which is the highest of the Pentland hills (579m). It was a lovely, energetic at times walk that gave us some great views over the Lothians. We took the walk at a nice steady pace and took most of the afternoon, stopping for lunch half way round.
