Out of office on……

It's the first weekend in Feb and lovely to see the sun out. The skies have been pretty dull and grey recently so we wanted to make the most of the nice weather. We parked along the harbour in Peel and then had a lovely walk alongside the river out to the Raggatt and up a mucky track that leads to the footpath up to Corrin's Tower. From there we enjoyed the views over Peel, northwards and towards St John's as we made our way down Peel hill (stopping briefly to have a cup of herbal tea from the flask) and then back to the car. We then headed to Green's where we shared a soup (carrot and pearl barley - yum!) and a piece of almond and orange cake. Lovely to be out and about!
