Peebles walk 23 Jan 2016
Having not had the camper out since before Christmas, we decided to head down to Peebles and do a nice 7.5mile walk we've first done last summer. Before heading up into the hills we went to a lovely little deli/restaurant in the main street called Coltman's. After filling up on poached eggs and bacon on toast (me) and french toast with maple syrup and bacon (Glenn) and buying a delicious looking sausage roll to take away, we headed out for an enjoyable, invigorating walk in the hills. We stopped halfway round for a cuppa and bite of sausage roll (which was the best we'd ever tasted!) and then once we were back in Peebles Glenn visited the local off-license to pick up some beers for the evening before heading back up the road to Edders. 🙂
