Orkney 4-5 November
I was lucky enough to get a free trip up to Orkney to give careers advice to the students studying at the International Centre for Island Technology...although I was only there for 1 night I managed to get in a bit of sightseeing! I flew into the airport which is just outside Kirkwall (the capital) and then got a taxi 25mins over to Stromness where I was based. The next day I left early enough to head back to Kirkwall to take in the sights before heading back to the airport. Lovely place, very peaceful and flat!
