Out of office on……

On Friday we took advantage of another deal voucher we'd bought, this time for afternoon tea at the popular 'Loopy Lorna's' - a lovely tea house just up the road here in Morningside (http://www.loopylornas.com/). The deal consisted of a whole cake stand of goodies and 2 pots of speciality tea, which was well worth it compared to the normal price we'd have to pay. The sandwiches and cakes were all homemade and tasted delicious....and all the other cakes at the counter looked scrummy too so we'll definitely be returning! For your information when you're looking at the photos, we didn't manage to eat everything and had to take a doggy bag of scones and cakes home with us! On Saturday afternoon we returned to Murrayfield this time to watch Scotland get defeated by South Africa. I didn't think the match was as good as last week but it was still worth going, especially to experience the atmosphere in the stadium! That's probably the last outing for a while....I'm back on work placement next week for 2 weeks and got 2 assignments and a practical assessment coming up so will be glued to my computer or reading academic papers when not on placement or in uni 🙁
