Out of office on……

Wednesday 20 April Waking up to sore legs after yesterday's hike made our minds up that today was just going to be a chill day around Ambleside. We had breakfast and then a good snoop around the shops before walking down to the lakeside to take in the views. We chilled here for a while, having a cheeky pint and having a little picnic sat in the sun. Later in the afternoon we headed back to the pad where I read my book and Glenn had a little snooze. Early evening we took a drive over the Booths in Windermere via Bowness-in-Windermere; we then had a deli tea and watched a film before bed.
