Peebles Walk – 10 July 2014
Taking advantage of a nice warm day we got our shorts on and headed to the town of Peebles for a lovely walk. We parked in the town and walked up out of the town and on to the Cademuir hills overlooking Peebles, before heading down into the valley and stopping at a picnic area for a sandwich and cuppa. The walk then followed the river Tweed back to the village and our car. Despite Glenn getting hit with hayfever half way round, we both really enjoyed the walk and would definitely do it again if we were back in the area. Peebles looked like a really nice town, however as the walk took most of the afternoon we didn't have time to explore the shops/town so we'll have to come back and do that another time!
