Tinto – Graham – 711 m (2332 ft)

Out for a nice Sunday hike with Davey and his mate Gregor. This was a Graham called Tinto in South Lanarkshire, about 1 hour south of Edinburgh. Munro Magic describe it as: "Tinto is a familiar landmark rising above the Lanarkshire countryside. The summit boasts one of the largest cairns on any hill, and one which is thought to date back to prehistoric times." We decided to take the really steep slope rather than the well walked path. Ended up scrambling up small stones and rocks, was like being on a treadmill at some places! Weather was very changeable and was pouring down and even started hailing at the top. Oh well, good old Scottish weather!
