The countdown to leaving Edders!!
It's been an interesting/busy/challenging/enjoyable last couple of weeks which has included finishing my job at Heriot-Watt, making the most of a lovely sunny spell of weather, packing, working on my business plan, eating, drinking, Glenn having an interview and getting a job(!!), a last-minute stress emptying out the flat, saying our goodbyes to Edders and Morningside... all finished off with a 3.5 hour road trip south and then a 3.5 hour boat journey back to the IOM on 9th June!
It's been great having the opportunity to live in Morningside and sample the Scottish way of living over the past four years. I'm really going to miss some aspects of living on the mainland, such as being able to jump in a car and be in the Lakes in 2.5 hours, the choice of shops and eateries/drinkeries...and also the free daily tea and coffee available from Waitrose! However, it's time for us to turn the page in the book of life and start a new chapter back on the rock - BRING IT ON! 🙂
