Out of office on……

Another blast of sun before Autumn kicks in...today we took Daisy on the Groudle Glen railway for the Gala Steam Day. We took a lovely walk through Groudle Glen to the train stop and then jumped on the train for the short trip out to the cafe where there were plenty of people chilling and taking in the lovely views. There were three trains running constantly (Brown Bear, The Otter & Sea Lion) so people could be ferried back and forth. We sat outside and had a snack before having a wander around and then heading back to the car via the train and glen. Lovely morning! Daisy had a little nap in the car and then woke up in time for a wander around the Food & Drink Festival at the Villa Marina. There was a nice buzz; we got a crab and elder bap from the Versa pop up tent and had a wander around and then I walked home enjoying the last of the day's sun.
