Even though the weather hasn't been amazingly 'summery' so far, we've been out and about making the most of the long days 🙂
Since finishing work for the summer I've had a quick trip up to Aberdeen for a Science careers conference and visit to uni friend Sophie, we had a visit from Glenn's friend Soraya and her husband and cute little baby Fox, we've been out and around Edinburgh and as far as Peebles to enjoy the two days of sun and just yesterday we headed to Cumbernauld (50mins west of Edinburgh) to visit the World of Wings centre where we had a bird handling and flying session. When at home I've also been trying to get to grips with my new sewing machine!

Other big news for June is that Glenn and I have purchased our own 1996 Toyota Hiace campervan...but Glenn has said that deserves its own post so look out for our next update!! 🙂
